The book study will take place from 11 October to 13 December 2010.

Every week a different topic will be discussed related to the book. The facilitator (me) maintains the discussion board, where the participants (us) pose thoughts, questions, reflections or connections, and reads how other participants are experiencing the text.

I will facilitate the book study by introducing threadlines for discussion every week and maintaining the discussion board. Topics for discussion will come from the chapters of the book or out of our previous posts.

To be a part of the book study you only need to:
  • accept my invitation
  • buy or borrow a copy of the book
  • read
  • log in to visibly share your thinking.

I bought my copy of the book from Amazon.co.uk. There is also a site that where you can download the book digitally in a couple different formats. Site to download digital book

Having a forum for exchange of ideas gives us the power to expand our expertise through observation, discussion and application, and allows us to better meet the needs of our students. It is my hope that this study group will provide enriching discussions and strengthen collaborative learning here at FIS.

I hope you will join me!
